Local Clinic for the disabled for the region are also planned besides offering basic medical health care and comfort for the community, and to create awareness of health issues such as Aids and HIV and also it will become the centre for distribution of medicines to the most remote areas.

A3.   MOBILE HEALTH CLINIC

 NEW HOPE FOR THE POOR (N’HOPO). Will operate a mobile health clinic assessment service with basic medicines, which will be travel to parts of the remote and rural area where due to poverty, to provide the best care and comfort possible to the local community of parents and guardians of the disabled children would be unable travel to the city for assistant.

NEW HOPE FOR THE POOR (N’HOPO) Highlight the need for future commitment to long term aid, in term of establishing vocational skill centres aimed at alleviating poverty by helping the disabled men, women, children, elderly to become self-sufficient and economically stabled. Our branch report from Durban also highlighted the need for future commitment to long-term aid in terms of establishing vocational skill centres aimed at alleviating poverty by helping the disabled men, women, children and elderly become self-sufficient and economically stable.

A5.   TRAINING INITIATIVES

NEW HOPE FOR THE POOR (N’HOPO). Have identified a range of training packages that organisation will be looking to deliver.  We see training as the key to the development of the skills people will need to build up these for nation and themselves.  N’hopo will endeavour to educate people, that disability in any child does not mean the end of the person’s productive life. 

The training programme are extensive, covering subject and concentrating on skills development relevant the need of rural areas and provinces, creating in the process employment and small industries quite capable of sustaining the economic needs of each village as well as the country as a whole.  Training is very much the key, therefore 50% of all resources will be aimed at training and employment creation.

Plans of disabled skill centre in the Eshowe / Nkandla and Umkomaas areas are underway.

N’hopo will work towards the setting up of manufacturing unit to provide sheltered employment to disabled people, giving them the opportunity to alternative way of earning a living.

The centre will teach skill basic of Electronic, Drama, Music, Singing and workshop etc.  Other such as computers and electronic library resource centre for the local community. N’hopo estimated between 6 and 10 million unemployed in South Africa only.

NEW HOPE FOR THE POOR (N’HOPO).  Countries in Africa, Natural disasters leave millions, thousand of thousands of needy families without shelters every year, projects are on the way to helped in the repairs of their homes, N’hopo estimated Up to 3 million families homeless, and between 5 – 8 million live in shacks, in South Africa and 20 million without electricity.
